Description

Rainbow Parasol Collection is a newly announced Nintendo Switch-exclusive compilation that brings together three beloved TAITO action classics—including six home-console versions of Rainbow Islands—in a single package, making it the definitive collection for fans of the Bubble Bobble universe and retro arcade adventures.

Rainbow Parasol Collection is a retro action game compilation developed and published by TAITO. Scheduled for release on October 8, 2026, the collection celebrates three interconnected action classics that trace their roots back to the legendary Bubble Bobble franchise. The package includes Rainbow Islands CS, Parasol Stars, and Spica Adventure, offering players a colorful journey through magical islands, distant planets, and whimsical worlds.

The collection's biggest highlight is Rainbow Islands CS, which includes six different home-console versions of Rainbow Islands, ranging from the Family Computer and NES editions to rare releases such as the Mega Drive version and the previously canceled Genesis version. Alongside this, players can experience the enhanced versions of Parasol Stars and Spica Adventure, both featuring modern gameplay options, online challenge modes, and quality-of-life improvements designed for contemporary audiences.
