Splatoon Raiders is a single-player–focused action shooter that reimagines the Splatoon universe through exploration, raiding, and gadget-driven combat. Taking on the role of a mechanic, players venture into the mysterious Spirhalite Islands to battle Salmonids, uncover treasure, and rebuild their strength through upgrades and crafted tools.

Island-Raiding Action Gameplay
Splatoon Raiders introduces a raid-based structure centered on exploring the Spirhalite Islands. Players venture into dangerous regions, battle hostile forces, and extract valuable resources before returning to base. Each raid emphasizes movement, positioning, and ink-based combat rather than competitive matches.

Single-Player–Focused Experience
The game is designed primarily as a solo adventure with a strong narrative backbone. Progression, exploration, and upgrades are built around individual play, allowing players to advance at their own pace without relying on competitive multiplayer systems.

Ink-Based Combat Against Salmonids
Combat retains the series’ signature ink mechanics while shifting focus to PvE encounters. Players face waves of Salmonids using ink-splattering weapons that combine area control, mobility, and tactical pressure rather than player-versus-player reflex combat.

Deep Cut Companion Support
Frye, Shiver, and Big Man play active roles throughout the adventure. One member of Deep Cut can accompany the player during raids using a powerful mechanical bot, providing offensive support and reinforcing the game’s cooperative narrative tone even during solo play.

Gadget Crafting and Equipment Upgrades
Resources collected during raids are used to craft mechanical gadgets, improve weapons, and enhance survivability. This system encourages strategic decision-making between expeditions, rewarding efficient exploration and thoughtful loadout customization.

Character and Loadout Customization
Players can personalize their mechanic’s appearance and combat setup. Weapon choices, gadgets, and upgrades can be tailored to different playstyles, supporting experimentation and long-term progression throughout the campaign.

Optional Cooperative Raids
While the core campaign is single-player–focused, select raid activities allow additional players to join. These cooperative elements are optional and designed to complement the solo structure without replacing it as the primary way to experience the game.
